Purple Cauliflower Recipe – Playdough Cookies

There are times when a mad lab kitchen experiment goes right the first time. Then there are recipes like the Purple Playdough Cookies (made with purple cauliflower!) that took three days of non stop experimentation to finally get something super tasty. And let me tell yah – those three days were brutal – it was 100 degrees outside and my oven was on for hours inside, and the failed versions were NOT tasty.

This labor of love was brought to you by obsession; I was completely obsessed with the thought of making a fun, purple cauliflower recipe. Fun fact: The purple color is caused by the presence of the antioxidant group anthocyanins (Source). I mean, just LOOK at how PRETTY it is!! What a lovely color.
