Giveaway: The Croods DVD / Blu Ray

The CroodsI wanted to kick off November with a give away that encapsulates the spirit of Thanksgiving, family, fun and food. The Croods is a movie that hits all four of these notes beautifully, in a humorous and adorable fashion (and not just because there are cute kitties in the film).

High level plot summary: It’s a family road trip – pre-historic style! This adorable comedy has a strong father figure who loves his family and wants to protect them, and it means having to move to a new location. Trials and tribulations ensue, while we see a strong father/daughter bonding occur (which is what I really love about this film, it’s so sweet!).

I also like how we see up close and personal the low carb, paleo lifestyle led by the family in their foray for food.

Lots of suuuuper cute animals and imaginative scenery make this movie bright, colorful and (I’m not just saying this, I swear) fun for the whole family. I walked in to this movie a tad skeptical, and left a fan. And I’m credited in this movie, so I’m even more critical than the average fan.

Therefore, I’m giving away a copy of The Croods, the Blu-ray / DVD + Digital Copy version.

See, I never grew up with the green bean casserole. Are you a fan of the one that uses cream of mushroom soup and fried onions?

What is your favorite part of the green bean casserole? Is it the creaminess? The toppings?
