After making boar burgers, I decided to experiment more with boar meat. The truth is, I got a huge batch of mini sweet peppers in my CSA box and they were SO ADORABLE! Think of a baby sized bell pepper. SO CUTE. So because I’m an alliteration nut, all I could think was ‘these are baby sized bites’ and then ‘baby boar bites would be so cute!’. I probably shouldn’t be sharing how my psyche works, but it’s got to be obvious by now that if it’s adorable (which includes black fuzzy kitties), I’m going to be a sucker for it.
Boar Bites - A cute way to serve boar
- 20 Mini Sweet Peppers bell peppers work as well, try to choose smaller sized ones
- 1 cup Cauliflower Rice
- 0.5 cups Parmesan Cheese
- 1 pound Ground Boar
- Pepper And Salt
- Trim the tops off the peppers and scoop out any seeds
- Mix the cauliflower rice, cheese and meat together (via hand, if you wanna feel primal) and add salt and pepper
- Stuff peppers tightly with the boar mixture
- Bake for 45 minutes
That’s it. Four ingredients, four steps, and you got yourself a platter of boar bites.
